Let's get crafty and chat!During this crafty session, we will be chatting about sex, relationships, and respect ... while making your own art piece exploring these themes. This is an inclusive space, in which you can participate at your own comfort level. Elephant Ed is an organisation focused on empowering young people with tools, language and skills to make safe and informed decisions about relationships and growing up. In this session, we will focus on values of respect and empathy - diving into themes of consent, sexual violence, positions of power, being an active upstander and an agent for positive change. Leaning on real-life examples, this keynote will look at how power dynamics, social media, and everyday interactions influence people’s understanding of respect.This session provides an opportunity to reflect, challenge assumptions, and gain tools to navigate conversations with confidence.

In this session that will be run in the UC Queer space, we invite all students who identify as LGBTIQA+ or are questioning, to join Artie McCarthy and Fox Fromholtz from UC’s Pride Alliance to join a conversation about what respect for LGBTIQA+ students looks like at UC. This session will explore what respect looks like both within LGBTIQA+ communities, but also in the context of the broader UC community, and share some tips for what students can do if they feel like they are not being respected on campus.This is an inclusive space where you can participate at your own comfort level. The Victim Survivor Voice is a discussion-based community listening program open to people over the age of 18, who have lived or living experience of domestic, family and/or sexual violence and currently live in the ACT. The program aims to provide opportunities for adults with lived and living experience of domestic, family and/or sexual violence to influence and inform work addressing and responding to domestic, family, and sexual violence in the ACT. This will be a safe, supportive and inclusive space facilitated by the Victim/Survivor Voice team at Women's Health Matters.

University is a great place for reading and learning! How about putting aside some time for learning about Jesus? Reading about Jesus is an opportunity to join with others and read through the Bible’s accounts of Jesus, to discuss and learn together. Repair Cafe joins the UCX Food Pantry every Thursday to help students and staff with mending and repairing clothing and some other items. Whether it's  a snagged thread, a little hole or a button that's fallen off, you'll not only have your item repaired, but you'll even pick up some tips on how to repair it next time.Come and give your clothes a new life, and help your favourite items last longer!

In preparation for the seasonal change, we open the floor to those who feel called to connect to self, while witnessing and being with what is present. Come as we journey through movement and breath to help us come into our bodies with the use of a soundscape and guided techniques. Reflecting on what has been, what is now and have a little boogie. The intention is to create a safe space for people to listen to their individual body’s needs and follow the natural movement. No experience needed, just a willingness to be open to following your internal compass and play.

Sometimes it is hard to meet new people, or to find opportunities to practise speaking in English. We wanted to provide a chance to help you with this. Our English Conversation Club is an informal time, not a structured class. In a small group, we talk about a different topic each meeting, with a native English speaker. Improve your English by practising your speaking and listening, and make some new friends along the way!  It's time to get out and about and welcome some of the beautiful sunshine on Ngunnawal country.  Join the Student Wellbeing and Support team for the Wellbeing Excursion to Mulligans Flat Woodland Sanctuary  Make sure you bring a hat, comfy covered walking shoes and water bottle.Morning tea will be catered for. As spots on this trip is strictly limited, please only register if you will attend.
